I used the information from your grant application to register your cat’s microchip to you. The company we use is 24Petwatch. The registry is FREE. They will make you think you have to have a paid account. I promise, you don’t. It.Is.Free.

1) CREATE A LOGIN: Visit www.mypethealth.com, and enter your email address and click “Continue”.

Create a password by clicking the “Forgot Password?” link. Then follow the instructions to make a password.

2) UPDATE YOUR PROFILE: Once you get logged into your account, in the upper right hand corner, to the right of your name, click the the down facing triangle to open the menu, then click on the word “Profile” (even though it has a check mark next to it and looks like it’s the “active” window… you still have to click on the word Profile.)

In your profile, you can update your phone number, address and email.

3) ADD EMERGENCY CONTACTS: Also, add one or more emergency contacts.

4) CHOOSE BOTH RADIO BUTTONS: Select both radio buttons. The first one gives you all the benefits of a paid account, but for free (you may receive advertising from comapnies affiliated with 24Pet/PetHealth. The 2nd radio button will enable the finder to contact you directly – saves time and gets your pet back home more quickly. Otherwise, a vet, rescue or shelter has to become more involved.

And also select this next button. It will ensure that a Good Sam can get your contact info to return your found pet to you. Otherwise, a shelter, rescue or vet has to be invovled.
